The conclusion to the 2026 pennant season was played out today at Shortland Waters GC, a big thanks to the club for allowing us to play.

B Grade

Was fought out right to the end. Horizon's Craig Foster got his team off to a winning start beating John Truscott 2 & 1, Tanilba Bay then turned the tables with wins to Heath Buman (1up) and Bailey Steed (2up) on the last hole and Terry O'Reilly had to play 2 extra holes to defeat Brian Dombkins, Horizon's number 1 & 2 Joel Schneeberger and Josh Brown were able to win both there matches 2 & 1. This left teams both tied on 3 wins each. Joel and Bailey were the 2 players selected to playoff for the Pennant, with Joel able to win on the 1st Playoff hole. Congratulation to Horizon's.

C Grade

Horizon's got off to a nice start again with No6 Mark Campbell (6&5) winning, Pacific Dunes fought back with No5 John Hurley winning 2&1, Horizon's then had wins to Mark Atkinson (6&4) and Duncan Lamont (5&4) to have them at 3 wins, Pacific Dunes's Max Holz was able to win his match 3&2, then No1 Jack Gair was able to seal the win for Horizon's after he won his match on the last. Congratulation to Horizon's

This topped off a huge weekend for Horizon's who were also the Inagural winners of the Darren Searl trohpy for best winning team.

Hopefully everyone enjoyed the new format and new timing of B & C Grade, and we look forward to another sucessfull year next year.
