After a frustrating season, we finally reached the season final, blessed with sunny weather at Hawks Nest GC.

B Grade was a one sided affair with Horizon's jumping out of the blocks with wins to Ras Van Zyl and Darren Mottram 5 & 4, then Craig Foster won 4 & 2 to have the side setting with 3 wins, Jason Thompson fought back from a couple down to win on the last hole, with Rob Spring and Joel Scheenberger playing the 17th, play was called as the result had already been obtained.

C Grade was quite the opposite, Charlestown shot out with 3 wins to John McEwan 4 & 3, Greg Chad 3 & 2 and Owen Foster 2 up on the last., Pacific Dunes had no 1 & 2 Aaron Jones 5 & 3 and John Lane 3 & 2 both win there matches, this left last weeks hero Phil King and PD's Max Holz still on the course, they ended up all square and headed to a playoff, where Max managed to get the win and send the game to a playoff after finishing 3 all.

Aaron Jones (PD) and Charlestown captain Greg Chad then played off for the C Grade Pennants and Greg made par on the 10th at Hawks Nest to seal the win for the Charlestown boys. (see facebook for winning putt)

The year is over, we look forward to moving the Pennant season to Summer next year and it will be kicking off on Sunday 1st February 2026. Draw's will be out soon!!!!
