NDGA Reaction to Covid-19

NDGA Reaction to Covid-19 Virus

Given the everchanging Government rules and restrictions, and the worsening position in relation to the Covid-19 virus, the NDGA has decided to postpone all NDGA controlled events, effective immediately, until further notice.

With the current status - we feel that it is unlikely that the Inter-District matches will proceed on their nominated dates - but a final decision will be made a minimum of 1 month prior.

Junior Pennants were scheduled for April 14, 16, 17 - but have been cancelled for 2020. Postponement is not possible due to the absence of suitable dates later in the year.

Please see the websites for our member Clubs regarding postponements or cancellations of their major Club and Order of Merit events.

This decision has not been taken lightly and has been put in place to minimise the number of occasions large groups of people assemble in close proximity.

The NDGA remains committed to the promotion and playing of golf and encourages all members to continue playing at, and supporting, all member Clubs whilst strictly adhering to social distancing protocols and Local Rules put in place for their protection.
