Round 5 of Pennants was completed today.

A Grade has 1 week to go and a summary of each Division is below.

Division 1

Newcastle has a commanding lead and are secured a spot in the Final, Toronto & hawks Nest fight it out for the other Final position, Toronto play Newcastle @ Newcastle while Hawks Nest take on hosts Merewether. Merewether unfortuneately will be relegated to Division 2 next year.

Division 2

This is a hotly contested division, with Waratah on 3 wins, Shortland Waters & Charlestown on 2.5 and Nelson Bay on 2 wins. This weeks games see Shortland Waters take on Nelson Bay at home and Waratah take on Charlestown at home. Basically whoever wins the last round games, should go thru to the Final, and draws and it will go onto countback matches.

Division 3

Belmont have secured top spot and a place in the Final, Muree & Horizon's played out a 3 all draw today, this leaves them on 2 wins a piece, Muree will have the advantage of taking on Tanilba Bay at home next week, where Horizon's have to travel to Belmont to win.
