Round 1 of the new Pennants season satrted in hot humid conditions today, this is the first year that we have had all 3 grades play at the one time, and hopefully everyone enjoyed it.

A Grade

Div 1

Newcastle travelled to Toronto and came away with a hard fought 5-3 win, in the other match Hawks Nest kicked off there Division 1 season after being promoted last year with a home win against Merewether 4.5 to 3.5

Div 2

Shortland Waters travelled all the way up to Nelson Bay and came away with a hard fought 5-3 win. In the other game Charlestown and Waratah played out a 4 all draw.

Div 3

Belmont had a close away win at Horizon's 3.5 to 2.5, Muree accounted for Tanilba Bay 5-1 away.
