Round 5 of A Grade Pennants was played in hot humid conditions

Div 1 - Newcastle had a field day at home against Waratah winning 8-0, in the other match Toronto scraped home 4.5 to 3.5 against a gallant Merewether team, this virtually sees Newcastle & Toronto thru to the final in 2 weeks time.

Div 2 - Hawks Nest had a similiar day out at home against Belmont winning 8-0, in the other match Charlestown def Shortland Waters 5.5 to 2.5, this sees Charlestown and Hawks Nest both thru to the final in 2 weeks.

Div 3 - Nelson Bay hosted Muree and flexed there muscles with a 5.5 to 0.5 win which sees them thru to the Final, in the other match Horizon's were to strong for Tanilba Bay at Tanilba 5 to 1, next weeks match between Horizon's and Muree at Horizon's shapes up to be a cracker with the winner most likely going thru.
